Bell Schedule

8:25 a.m. - warning bell will ring and students will need to line up at the outside door of their classroom and wait for their teacher to open the door.

8:30 a.m. - class begins

10:05-10:20 a.m.- recess

11:55 am - 12:35 p.m.- Lunch

12:40 p.m. - class begins

2:23 p.m. - dismissal

 

Public Feedback Requested: Draft Board Meeting Procedures

A recommendation was passed unanimously by the Board of Education at the October 18, 2016 Public meeting.

The draft Board Meeting Procedures Policy was approved in principle is referred to the public for comment and consideration.

Deadline for written submission: November 19th.

*The feedback gathered will be presented at the November 29th Education Committee meeting.

New Provincial Initiative for Reporting Bullying

The provinicial government has launched a new service in the drive to reduce bullying in British Columbian schools. It is an on-line reporting system. If you or someone you know is experiencing bullying all you need to do is click on the ERASE link. http://www.erasebullying.ca/

École Mission Central Elementary is a dual track school, offering an Early French Immersion program as well as a regular elementary program for grades K - 6. Mission Central is a school that is dynamic, vibrant and engaging, offering a broad range of programs with a skilled, dedicated staff that work hard to meet the needs of all learners.
